Since the formation of the United Arab Emirates in 1971, Abu Dhabi and Dubai have grown from modest fishing ports and trading posts with traditional wind towers into thriving, vibrant cities renowned for their modern buildings and world-class airports, seaports and infrastructure. As one of the leading organisations behind this transformation, the Saeed & Mohammed Al Naboodah Group began operating in construction in the 1960s, and in 2007 consolidated its construction businesses to form the 12,000 employee strong Al Naboodah Construction Group LLC.

1960s – Starting out
The Saeed & Mohammed Al Naboodah Group set out in construction focusing on residential and commercial building projects.
1970s – The Development of Core Competence
The company began specialising in infrastructure construction with the completion of Umm Al Quwain and Ajman roads.
1980s – Gaining Experience
Al Naboodah Construction Group completed the second runway at Dubai International Airport.
1990s – Feeding the Nation
Al Naboodah Construction Group constructed numerous earth-fill breaker dams including a 60m high dam in the Northern Emirates.
2000s – Growth
Al Naboodah Construction Group was awarded strategic infrastructure contracts across the Emirates to facilitate its rapid expansion.
2010s – The Natural Choice
Al Naboodah Construction Group completed its first projects in Oman and Qatar expanding its geographic footprint to be a natural choice contractor across the GCC.
